John - I tried the 19" turnout style pipe from JC Whitney. I liked the appearance and it is just slightly too loud. However, backfiring is extreme. I did not rejet the carb. I want to try a Jireh silencer with this combination, but it is out of stock (has been for over a month). Do you have backfire or performance issues with what you described? Did you rejet?
